Service line 01 / 02 · Business GRC

Governance you can put in front of a board.

Business GRC Services help boards and executive leadership embed governance, risk, compliance and sustainability into strategy, decision-making and day-to-day operations — anchored to the ISO standards an auditor, a regulator or an investor already recognizes.

Why this line exists

Sustainability is no longer a separate conversation from risk.

Regulatory expectations, investor scrutiny and stakeholder demands now require organizations to manage more than financial and operational exposure. Environmental, social, ethical and long-term sustainability risks sit in the same register, are reported to the same board, and are tested by the same auditors.

Treating them as separate programs produces separate evidence, separate committees and separate blind spots. Business GRC Services are built on the opposite premise: one governance system, five disciplines, one set of records.

  1. 01

    Corporate governance and ethical leadership

Purpose, decision rights and conduct, set from the top.

  2. 02

    Enterprise and operational risk management

One register, one appetite, one reporting line.

  3. 03

    Regulatory and compliance management

    Obligations mapped, controlled and demonstrable.

  4. 04

    Assurance, audit and accountability

Independent testing that management can act on.

  5. 05

    Sustainability and ESG governance

Aligned to global standards, not to a reporting season.

One governance system · 5 disciplines · one set of records

What it enables

Five things a board can act on.

  • Strengthen governance and ethical leadership

  • Proactively manage enterprise risks

  • Meet regulatory and compliance obligations

  • Detect and prevent misconduct and fraud

  • Improve transparency, accountability and trust

The standards behind the line

11 standards. Evidence auditors already read.

Every practice is anchored to a published standard, so the work produces evidence an auditor already knows how to read.

  • ISO 37000Governance of organizations
  • ISO 31000Risk management
  • ISO 37301Compliance management systems
  • ISO 19011Auditing management systems
  • ISO 37001Anti-bribery management systems
  • ISO 37002Whistleblowing management systems
  • ISO 37003Fraud control management systems
  • ISO 21502Project management guidance
  • ISO 53001Management systems for UN SDGs
  • IWA 48ESG implementation principles
  • UN SDGsGlobal sustainable development goals

The portfolio

Nine practices. One governance system.

Each practice is anchored to its own standard and can be engaged on its own — but they are designed to interlock, so the evidence one produces is usable by the next. Open any practice to see what the work covers and what it changes.

Where this lands in Canada

Standards are portable. Obligations are local.

ISO 37000 reads the same in Toronto as it does anywhere else. What changes is the obligation it has to answer — who must assess, on what cycle, to whom they report, and what evidence survives being asked for.

Work in the Canadian market is scoped to the obligation first and the standard second, so the governance system produces exactly the records the reporting relationship requires.

Live example

Ontario Regulation 51/26

In force since July 1, 2026. Prescribed public-sector entities must run a cybersecurity program, name senior contacts, assess maturity on a recurring cycle, submit results, and report confirmed critical incidents within 72 hours.

  3. 03

    Practical and impact-focused

Designed for real-world implementation, measured against institutional resilience and long-term value creation rather than documentation volume.

Begin with a governance and risk readiness review.

A scoped assessment of where your governance, risk, compliance and sustainability arrangements stand against the standards they will be measured by — with the gaps named in priority order and the evidence set a board or regulator will ask for.
